About Matt Choyce
Matt, a 29-year-old creative agency founder from Northern Virginia, discovered his passion for motorcycle riding during the COVID-19 pandemic. In August 2020, after completing an MSF course, he bought his first bike, a 2018 Honda CB500F, sparking his love for two-wheeled adventures.
By July 2021, Matt had expanded his horizons, taking an MSF Dirt Course at DC Dirt Camp. This experience ignited a deeper interest in off-road and adventure riding, prompting him to invest in gear and immerse himself in the adventure riding community.
In April 2022, after weeks of research, Matt purchased a Suzuki DRZ400S, marking a turning point in his riding journey. This bike became the gateway to his passion for adventure riding, which has only grown stronger with time.
In July 2022, Matt attended his first Adventure Rally, the Soggy Bottom Motofest in Pennsylvania. After a weekend filled with thrilling rides and new friendships, he became hooked on the rally scene. Since then, Matt has participated in over 10 rallies across the country, with many more in the pipeline.
March 2024 marked Matt’s first foray into rally racing at the Sandblast Rally in South Carolina. Although a crash during SS6 resulted in a broken collarbone, this setback hasn’t dampened his competitive spirit. His post-surgery return to riding was marked by participating in the 2024 Soggy Bottom Motofest, reinforcing his commitment to the adventure riding community and his future in the sport.
